Elizabeth Lomax, President 

A lover of all things international and a self-described “trade geek”, I have over twenty-five years of import/export trade compliance experience.  My main experience has been in the healthcare, consumer, and industrial goods industries.

 

After developing the trade compliance program for a large pharmaceutical company in the U.S., I spent eight years in beautiful Switzerland at the company’s global headquarters where I designed and implemented its global trade compliance program.  Prior to that, I worked in the trade compliance practice of a law firm and a big-four accounting firm.  I have worked with great people at manufacturing, distribution, and sales office sites around the world and learned about customs, export, and health authority regulations in other countries.

New opportunities brought me back to the U.S. where I founded Lomax Associates in 2017 with the goal of helping companies achieve efficient supply chains by ensuring their import and export transactions are accurate and compliant with all regulatory requirements, thereby minimizing the risk of supply chain delays and disruptions.  I enjoy helping clients improve their processes, strengthen their operations, and better manage risk to enhance supply chain performance.

Active in the trade compliance community, I currently serve as co-chair of the Healthcare Industries Committee for the American Association of Exporters and Importers.  I am also a licensed customs broker.
